Prediction: UMass 2, Merrimack 1

UMass is in the cellar of the Hockey East along with Merrimack, who is currently edging them for that 11th spot by just one point. While UMass is on a five-game losing streak, I believe they have a great chance to snap the skid. Matt Murray played excellent with 36 saves in the loss against Boston University on Friday night. Murray will likely get the call tomorrow night against Merrimack as Ryan Wishcow had a less than stellar performance in the Saturday loss to UNH. I believe this could be a low scoring game, if we get a Murray vs. Craig Patano matchup in net as both men have put up solid numbers this season so far.
